The Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer program has become one of the premier Division III programs in the country. The Bears compete in the University Athletic Association (UAA) and have dominated their conference, capturing 12 UAA titles. Under head coach Jim Conlon, who has led the program since 2008, WashU has reached the NCAA Tournament 17 times, including three national championship appearances in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The Bears claimed their first national title in 2016, then won back-to-back championships in 2024 and 2025. WashU's primary conference rivals include the University of Chicago and Emory, both fellow UAA members. Located in the Clayton neighborhood of west St. Louis, the Bears play their home matches at Francis Olympic Field on campus.
