Red Knights (Girls)

Founded in 1932, Incarnate Word Academy is an all-girls Catholic high school with a soccer program that ranks among the most dominant in Missouri history. The Red Knights won their first state title in 1989 and have since accumulated nine state championships (1989, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2009), including back-to-back titles on three separate occasions. The program also strung together a remarkable run of 38 consecutive district titles, along with the most postseason victories of any girls soccer program in the state. Incarnate Word competes in the Girls Independent Schools League (GISL), where their rivals include fellow members St. Joseph's Academy, Cor Jesu, Nerinx Hall, and Visitation. Located in north St. Louis County on Normandy Drive, the Red Knights play their home matches on the school's campus.
